She came in sporting some cosmetic surgery that looked good from a distance but up close the shortcuts that had been taken were obvious. The old canvas had been tacked and industrially glued where it was pulling away from the rails and then coated with epoxy. Now she’s ready for a renewed life after a lot of time under a heat gun to get the old skin off, rails off, one rib replaced, five plank patches, puddled varnish removed, new canvas, filler, marine enamel, and a top coat of interior varnish.
