Sellers Old Town 50 Pounder

A local boat that needs a new skin and some minor woodwork. One end had rot and a couple of ribs were cracked requiring backside repairs to stabilize them.  It will get a new canvas and fresh varnish.

July: canvas, filler and primer. 

   
 

Aug/Sept: After several coats of primer and the first coat of marine enamel we repaired one end of the keel and installed it along with the outwales. Once the varnish on the rails hardens we’ll finish the paint!
