I’m behind in posting – this shot of the first coat of filler on the 50 lb is from last weekend. I used the rest of the Ekofill I had left. Unlike traditional oil-based filler it dries quickly and you don’t have to do all 3 coats at once. It’s designed for filling fabric on aircraft (yes, they used to build airplanes with wood or aluminum frames covered with filled and painted fabric). It cures out in days rather than weeks so the little 50 should turn green by next weekend!

Steve,
I’m painting 18 HW which Dick Butler and I canvased at Spooner WI. I gave it three coats of Ekofill, light sanded with 320, my first restoration. This is a photo of kirby brushed coat four./Users/peterjoyce/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Originals/2010/May 26, 2010/IMGP0479.JPG
